Who we are

Azur Mode is a trading name of AB Com BV, Rue Picard 7, Box 100, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, company number 1020012804, VAT BE1020012804 ("we", "us"). AB Com BV is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you visit azurmode.com, place an order, or contact us.

What data we collect

  • Contact and order data: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, payment confirmation (we never receive your full card number; payments are handled by our payment processors)
  • Account data: username, password and security details, if you create an account
  • Customer service data: the content of your messages to us
  • Usage data: IP address, device and browser information, and how you use the site, collected via cookies and similar technologies

Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and refunds, and provide customer service: necessary for the performance of our contract with you
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and consumer law: legal obligation
  • To send you marketing emails: your consent, or our legitimate interest in contacting existing customers about similar products, always with an unsubscribe link in every message
  • To secure the site and prevent fraud, and to improve our services: our legitimate interests
  • To place non-essential cookies for analytics and advertising: your consent, given via the cookie banner and withdrawable there at any time

Who receives your data

We share personal data only where needed:

  • Our fulfilment partner in Ningbo, China (Ningbo DayOne Technology Co. Ltd), which receives your name, delivery address, phone number and order details to pack and ship your order. We share only the data needed to deliver your order, under our agreement with this partner
  • Shopify, which hosts our store (see Shopify's privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy)
  • Payment processors, shipping carriers, customer support and analytics providers acting on our instructions
  • Advertising partners, only where you have consented to marketing cookies
  • Public authorities where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal data. Where US state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly to include targeted-advertising cookies, you can opt out at any time via the cookie settings on our site or by contacting us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept, refuse or customise these in the cookie banner when you first visit our site, and change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link on the site. How long we keep your data

Order and invoice data: as long as required by Belgian tax and accounting law (in general 7 years). Customer service correspondence: up to 3 years after the file is closed. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Account data: until you delete your account. Usage data: per the cookie lifetimes shown in the banner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights under the GDPR (for EU residents) or applicable US state privacy laws (such as the CCPA for California residents), including the right to:

  • Access / know the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted
  • Restrict processing or opt out of "sale", "sharing" or targeted advertising
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and object at any time to direct marketing
  • Withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting prior processing
  • Appeal a decision if we decline your request, by replying directly to our response

Exercising these rights is free, and we will never discriminate against you for doing so. Contact us at info@azurmode.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law; for EU residents, within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity first, and you may use an authorized agent where applicable law allows it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be), with your local data protection authority if you live in the EU, or with your state Attorney General's office if you live in the US.

Children

Our services are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children's data. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Parents or guardians can contact us to have such data deleted.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update.
